    First Man

Christopher Nolan was that this movie is amazing. It’s a straight up technical masterpiece. I should have appreciated it more when it was out honestly but I do know right now that I do love it.

Claire Foy was snubbed tho and that’s honestly the worst part of this.

Go watch this movie and if you already have go watch it again.

    Happy Together

The best thing about this movie is how underrated it is.

    Happy belated birthday Wong Kar-Wai.

  • Yesterday

The most frustrating part of this movie is that Lily James is literally right fucking there the whole time.

Idk it’s ok I guess. Though all the songs are pretty much acoustic covers which gets old fast.

Hamish Patel was pretty good though I actually liked him in this a lot.

Anyway not to bad for having to kill two hours.

  • Minority Report

    Minority Report

“Is a man who was going to commit murder (but doesn’t) still guilty”. I can’t help but wonder about what could have been if this were more the central theme of the plot, rather than someone being framed for murder. While the question was touched on briefly I feel like it should have been more of the central plot than anything else. I don’t know though I could be wrong about this.

Either way that’s not to say it was bad. On the contrary the directing and Tom Cruise and Collin Farrell were all great and thoroughly entertaining.

  • Mandy

Got to chance to see this in theaters with a friend. I’m convinced that this movie should only been seen in theaters because it looks and sounds amazing.

  • Easy Rider

    Easy Rider

Wow. Just the style in the filmmaking and the story telling. I was completely floored this was so great in such an unexpected way.

Dennis Hopper was great as well as Peter Fonda, and Jack Nicholson in all honesty stole the show for me in his part he was hilarious.

This movie probably isn’t for everyone especially with the ending but I know I liked it.

Gonna let this one simmer for a while-

  • Stranger Things

    Stranger Things

My review is...I’m in love with Robin aka Maya Hawke. Especially when she said The Apartment and Hidden Fortress are her favorite movies.

But off the bat I have to say I did like this season especially around the beginning but overall this was more repetitive and inconsistent than anything else. The beginning felt very much the same as seasons 1 and 2 and so did the rest of the plot progression.

Further more the character development in this season…

  • The Night of the Hunter

    The Night of the Hunter

Night Of The Hunter is one of the best shot films I’ve seen of its era. Its composition is masterful and beautiful.

However I don’t think this one was 100% for me. I couldn’t feel like more of a millennial while saying this but it’s really a film that’s stuck in its time. But that doesn’t make me not appreciate it.

Robert Mitchum is for the most part great. Though the dialogue can be very very heavy handed at times,…

  • Midsommar

The second feature by Ari Aster, his follow up to last year’s Hereditary which was by far one of the best movies of the year and one of the best horror movies of the past 5 years. Midsommar is a story of toxic relationships oddly enough and where they can take you.

So I will say I really did like this movie. The start was really good, as depressing as it was (seriously I don’t know how Ari Aster gets…

  • Toy Story 4

    Toy Story 4

Keanu Reeves said ‘woah’ so that kinda makes the whole thing perfect.

In all honesty though I was a bit skeptical of this as I thought Toy Story 3 was a pretty perfect end and anything else would just be more unnecessary than anything else but I still managed to enjoy it and it has amazing animation as well.

However I will say I hope Pixar pumps the breaks on all these sequels to previous movies as a lot of…

That’s all that needs to be said.

    Lost Highway

Probably the best soundtrack David Lynch has ever put together.
