    (Watched the whole series, not the movie version of episode 4 & 5)

    On a technical level it's as precise and gorgeous as you'd expect if you're familiar with Refn. The framing and use of colour is top notch, so is the score by Cliff Martinez, quite possibly some of his best work to date. Most of the performances are also great although I think Miles Teller may have been a bit miscast. The problem is Refn's style works much better…

    Somehow this got funnier the second time around? Honestly I haven't seen a film that I loved this much in so long. Beautifully shot and edited, incredibly unique both in terms of its story and its use of sound/soundtrack, and flawlessly acted. How the fuck is this a debut?

    Can't wait to see what Cory Finley does next. Highly recommend checking this one out when it opens near you.

    The fact that a 146 minute long horror film, this strange, got picked up for distribution is kind of mind-blowing. The whole film feels like a disjointed combination of Crimson Peak and Shutter Island.
