I’m The only Juan’s review published on Letterboxd:
I think this is the best Directorial debut I’ve ever seen. First Malick film I’ve seen, and I feel like I started perfectly, since it has a straightforward narrative (something that in his later work gets more abstract). While spinning on the Bonnie and Clyde formula, in a way that I automatically lose interest in watching any other film like this because it won’t be as good. Aside from some performances being okay and scenes going on for too long. I can admit, I felt a like I wanted to rewatch it immediately
Definitely gonna check out more of Malick’s work!
