Todd Malkin’s review published on Letterboxd:
Lighter Eastwood fare, but it's still Eastwood... he's insanely likeable as an actor, and although his directing is exemplary from time to time, even his "lighter fare" is more enjoyable than most.
The drug-mule plotline is almost an aside to the theme of job and family. Other things like (a rather silly look) at a person being overwhelmed with progress feel too slight; and perhaps, not thought out enough. Still, I'm feeling a little "get off my porch" these days, so I enjoyed this one. I know what it's like to work too hard and lose sight of more important things. I only wish I could do it with as much relish for life as Tata.
