Okay, when I say I enjoy it without sound, I'm mainly talking about the absence of the dialog/plot. At first, I was kind of digging it, but by the second half, I had confirmed my earlier belief: this film is better with your favorite albums playing over it. The actual soundtrack is great, but anything will work.
I'm not against this script, exactly. Given the context of the film, I actually think it's pretty good in many ways... just not what I want for this movie. The visuals are *so* stunning that the simplistic, cheesy dialog throws me off. Honestly, you don't need any of it to understand what's going on (most of the time). That's actually a sign of good visual storytelling.
