The chemistry between Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga feels so intimate and genuine in this film, which made the ending all the more gut-wrenching. Seeing their relationship grow throughout the movie paired with an amazing soundtrack is definitely the highlight here. While the ending is somewhat problematic in how it glorifies Jack’s suicide as a means to further Ally’s career, I overall really enjoyed this film and highly recommend it.
(This was the only “A Star Is Born” film I have watched, I have not seen any of the previous iterations.)
