This is fucking atrocious. I haven't seen a Bond flick since Casino Royale, but wow; I can't quite believe how awful this really was. Obnoxiously predictable. Thankfully I only watched this because a friend decided to while we were on a ten-hour flight to Tokyo, so it helped burn the time (though watching this movie was the only time I almost fell asleep inside an entire 30-hour travel day lol).

Speaking of – I will be in Japan for a month. Not that anyone cares or will even notice, but I probably won't be watching much while here.

    Oh my fucking god.

Never before in my life have I finished a film and actually thought, "Yes, they were all right; this really might be the best film ever made." Thank you, Kubrick.

I was somewhat torn whilst watching this film go through its marketing campaign in the run up to its release, as it felt like…

I'm probably rating this higher than it truly deserves, but it's just so damn hilarious. It's so terrible, yet so funny. The camerawork is beyond egregious and the editing is inconsistent at best, but this is an absolute must-watch for any Gyllenhaal fans. His character is so extravagant and overtly camp that every scene with him is an absolute joy to witness. There weren't many times he was in a scene and I didn't end up laughing out loud –…
