Anyone who thinks Ealing only make traditional cosy comedies clearly hasn’t seen The Man in the White Suit, which is the studio at its cynical and satirical best.

Three cheers for me for finally watching this 80s classic!
In short, I’m so overwhelmed. The Breakfast Club is the perfect mix between hilarious teen comedy and important coming-of-age film. And I really wasn’t expecting that. It’s a film that challenges teenage stereotypes and shows that most of us have much more in common than we may believe.
P.S. Poor old Brian! He got laughed at after talking about his suicide attempt and was then made to write essays for the whole group while everyone else made out!
