A hopelessly overrated film whose quality is directly dependent on the quality of television you are watching it on. James Cameron's Avatar successfully transports it's audience into the world he creates; however, once the movie ends, so does any attachment to the film, creating little to no lasting value. The acting is middle-of-the-road and the plot completely stolen from other sources. Bottom line, this is worth seeing, if only for the stunning effects, but don't expect to be blown away.
Updated opinion: wow, I was a NolanisGOAT fan boy and someone who thought bashing Avatar was cool... I'm not a fan of who I was eight years ago :P .... I mean, it's not a great film, but it's definitely better than I had it scored.
