Don't go in with high expectations and you will be pleasantly surprised. Follow the hype surrounding the movie and/or trust the review blurbs, and you will be wildly disappointed.
I don't remember the last time a movie shook me to my core the way 'Raw' did. The scariest thing about it is that it doesn't feel like a movie. The are no lines the movie doesn't cross, but it's done in such a thrilling way that you can't help but keep watching and, oddly enough, wanting more. Julia Ducournau will be here for a long time (I believe and truly hope so).
