Babe kicks big-time ass in a non-chronological order.
'88', like its jokes, gets a delayed response to its twists and action bits. Not complaining at all. If looks could kill, I wouldn't be writing this, now - would I?
88 is an interesting tale of 'forgetful vengeance' with enough twists, shit load of action and psyched out 'Memento' moments to keep this preacher happy.
Michael Ironside is still so bad ass. I don't know how. Perhaps it's the perpetual 'Nicholsan' snare or the fact that he was a mean mother in 'Total Recall, 1990' and 'Starship Troopers, 1997' and 'Terminator Salvation, 2009'.
However it may be, '88' packs some smooth heat of its own.
Sweet.
