I watched this over two days so my rating might be biased as the first half is about a repo guy going to the backwoods to repo a jag and gets kidnapped. The second half is about him being entered into a underground fighting tournament and spirals into vehicular mayhem and a wild boat vs helicopter chase. This is written, directed and produced by two stunt guys and starring one of them, and it shows because the action is very good. Going out on a high note is the easiest way for a movie to trick me into thinking it is good.

"You can kick, punch, do whatever it takes to win."
A repo man is abducted by rednecks to fight in a shirtless tournament at the rodeo. Deliverance + Bloodsport ÷ Every Which Way But Loose x First Blood = Forced to Kill. There is some fun stuffing going on here, but it fails to hit the apex of its trajectory. It takes a bit to get things rolling and the momentum stalls when human beings aren't being beaten, shot, or exploded but some fun stunts are there for curious viewers. If you're a PM Entertainment junkie or find that the Running Man is too intellectual - this one is for you.

A tough guy is kidnapped and forced to compete in an underground bare-knuckle boxing tournament.
The first two thirds were pretty much what I expected and consequently not that interesting. But then it pulls out all the stops for the finale, crowbarring in lots of action tropes.
I had hoped to watch the crazy sounding Steel Frontier instead but the picture quality of the version on YouTube was too poor. However this was a solid substitute.
Part of the Movies on Cinemax in May 1996 project.
This is a much better movie on paper than the direction and the budget allows it to be. It’s the tale of a repo man (writer/producer Corey Michael Eubanks) who is kidnapped by a family of hillbillies (led by Rance Howard) and eventually forced to fight in a tournament at what appears to be a rodeo ring at the local county fairgrounds. Clint Howard, Don Swayze and a rare, beardy Michael Ironside are along for the ride. It’s like Diggstown but with WAY more crimes.
Stuntman Eubanks has written a bunch of fighting scenes and stunt sequences that, with proper direction, would be pretty exciting. Here they’re just adequate. Shots…
Whoa now, this flick slaps! I did not expect such a slick little romp out of this one, but Forced to Kill is some solid schlock. Also, this flick doesn't just have one member of the Howard clan, but TWO WHOLE HOWARDS! Also Patrick Swayze's bro. Some half decent action, a spiffy though lo-fi score, and pulpy exploitation plot with Michael Ironside as villain.
Highly recommend for a group watch or hangover viewing.
Forced to kill is the ultimate vanity project of Corey Michael Eubanks who writes, produces and leads this early 1990s stupid kick-em-up shoot-em-up film.
Michael Ironside makes for a great evil sheriff and, for me at least, steals the show in this mindless entertainment, with mind numbing flaws.
Opening had me at 4 stars, things took a downturn immediately
I kept plowing through and it was worth it, i count at least 6 car stunts, each car was absolutely destroyed so hell yeah
Add a couple impressive explosions, okay fight scenes and so bad it's good dialogue that'll leave you laughing, i give this my recommendation
Repossessing cars and giving punks a run for their money. Not a bad way to make a living, if you ask me. Then again, some just aren't cut out for hard work, especially when it involves a homeless veteran, exploding cars, hostile locals, rowdy rednecks, and an underground fighting tournament. So much for the peace and quiet of rural life, huh? Well, the good news is that there's enough mayhem to keep a tractor running, so you won't have to shell out the dough to get it fixed. The bad news is that the film is bogged down by pacing issues, so it doesn't quite reach its apex, which is a shame since the tournament is the selling point. Oh…
Michael Ironside with a beard, that’s something we haven’t seen a lot but should have more. Don Swayze and Clint Howard do what they can to elevate this badly directed movie.
There is some uninspired fight sequences and some badly directed explosions : one where the frame hides Don Swayze getting blown (so the stuntman did the flip for nothing) and another one where Ironside is visibly NOT in his truck when it explodes.
Maybe a bit of an odd choice to have your vanity project be a Mandingo styled film, but with white people. Inspired bit of casting to have Don Swayze murder Clint Howard though, which just becomes more darkly comic moments later when Rance Howard is revealed as Don Swayze's father.
