I got a huge kick outta this one.
If you're ever tempted to watch the Nick Cage left behind, pick up this instead. I promise it's more enjoyable, even though the first 15 minutes are the best part of the film.
Still, it amused me throughout, with utterly nonsensical eschatology, fake Jews, late '90s MasterHacker scenes, a woodenly "sophisticated" villain, demon horses, God's tac-nuke, and a conversion scene so ingenuine it makes the performances from God's Not Dead seem compelling.
The only major disappointment for me (aside from the slowdown in the second half) was the cop-out with the abomination of desolation. I wanna see Matthew York slaughter a pig, darn it!
