I will say that there are perfect movie experiences. I watched this in an empty theater in Seoul. Halfway through the film, I had to look left, right, down the aisles to make sure there wasn't something, someone staring back at me. Because it felt like that throughout this entire movie.
It isn't so much the big shock that we felt in Get Out, but more so focuses on the social commentary of who we are in land that has been stolen and re-developed.
Also to note, I left the theater engulfed in anxiousness. I forget which way I was going, forgot how to breathe, had to call friends abroad to feel something close to safety.
