A pre-code film about a night club performer portrayed by Joan Crawford is in love with travelling salesman Neil Hamilton. She sees him a couple of days per fournight.

When Hamilton breaks it off to get married to a rich woman, Crawford becomes suicidal. Gable sees her on the bridge and saves her.

    Battle of the Bulge

    ★★½

This is a horrible, inaccurate movie of this Battle. I watched it for Henry Fonda, Robert Ryan and Robert Shaw. It was long, boring and incorrect. And why - WHY- did it focus so much on the Nazi anthem? I thought that this was a movie about the American part of the Battle? No........

Recommended only for people like me who insist on seeing EVERY movie made by favourite actors, directors, etc. Normally I have a lot to say and write long reviews, but no need to do that here....
