    Brilliant movie. Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon are both brilliant. The way that the story snowballs and snowballs while keeping the characters relatable and admirable is great. The occasional comedic elements are not so much "funny" as they are "charming" (which isn't to say that they aren't charming either). Overall, a great, wholesome movie

    Independence Day is a great contribution to the science fiction and disaster movie genre.
