Never seen a Filipino movie quite like this. Mixes folklore-inspired childlike sensibilities with adult romance; equal amounts magic realism and coming-of-age. Nadine Lustre and Irene Villamor both in their career-best. That "Heto Na Naman" tune will be stuck in my head for a while. One of the films that will make you reaffirm your love for cinema. And that ending! I could probably watch it countless times and still not get tired of it. Salute to all strong women out there!
