Don't say that, Raimunda, or I'll start crying. And ghosts don't cry.
Volver was a really surprising film. I watched it only because i'm kinda in love with Penélope Cruz, but I ended up just loving this film. It talks about family relationships, grief, trusting, and loneliness.
Such a simple story, though is powerful. It made me cry and think about my family and how much I love them.
And talking about the cast, Penélope Cruz is brilliant as Raimunda, in one of her best performances, and also Blanca Portillo, who plays Agustina very well. Definitely a worth watching movie.
