Some of the humour didn’t deliver and I didn’t like the pacing at times. The acting was fairly good, and I enjoyed the storyline for most part. Maybe I rated this lower because I compared it to a much better film called You’re Next, which holds some similarities but is executed better. Did not like Andie MacDowell or her character in this at all but really liked Adam Brody

Guilty pleasure time.
I’ve always disliked Hoffman as a character in the Saw franchise, so seeing his demise occur was fantastic.
I really enjoy this one because the background stories and developments are great, John Kramer explaining that he has never killed anyone & how he offers rehabilitation is quite the outlook and characterization, the traps are better than in the last two films, the main person who goes through Jigsaws traps is deservingly placed there - and this brings up…
Zac Efron did a decent job of portraying serial killer Ted Bundy (keyword decent). I think you’ll like this film more if you’re decently familiar with his story, and weren’t expecting to see the grotesque murders he committed. The film focuses more on once he’s been placed within the criminal justice system.
The second half is way better than the first. The editing is fairly choppy and the story isn’t super consistent, but it’s not bad. It’s lacks a bit in terms of chemistry and acting as well.
