    The Horror Within

8 college students set off to make a horror movie in an isolated house in the woods with a (typical) dark history. It seems the caretaker of the property is a vampire who begins feeding on the small crew and turning them into the undead.

I like bad movies but this one is absolutely dreadful. Grade F acting, dialogue, and (un)special effects make this a chore to get through. Not even the gratuitous nudity nor the in joke of “nudity sells the picture” is enough to even warrant a one star rating. The writer/director has never worked again since this turd, thank god

Eh this Canadian horror anthology is pretty forgettable. No wraparound and not one segment stands out as a the superior one. Just 4 meh stories.

Guy witnessed the murder of a prostitute leaving his home but doesn’t report it,
after a string of burglaries a couple get a trained guard dog but the hubby is scared of it,
A lady is menaced by a kidnappers demands to get back her kid,

A guy helps a woman being attacked in a subway and a chase ensues... semi entertaining forgettable anthology

Wow! The Descent is one spine tingling on-the-edge-of-your-seat subterranean horror thriller. 6 beautiful ladies (one of which has recently went through a personal tragedy) go exploring a cave which noone else has ever discovered. Once they're down there they realize they're not alone. No more setup is necessary. If you are claustrophobic this is NOT the movie for you, I've personally never had a problem with tight spaces but this movie freaked me out it was almost like I couldn't even breathe. Tense nailbiter not for the faint of heart.

    The Texas Chain Saw Massacre

This classic just turned 41 yesterday & is still as shocking and revolting as ever. Definitely a turning point for horror cinema history. It really still holds up well, its one of the films that scared me as a kid (especially being one living in the Lone Star State!!) & still does. Sally is THE final girl (sorry Jamie Lee) the peek of terror she reaches is absolutely bonkers. It really says something about the filmmaker who has a film where the…
