    Missing in Action

In which Chuck Norris begins to create the myth is that is Chuck Norris.  And in which he roams around Vietnam and drives some seriously hard bargains to rescue his buddies.

Everyone shoots at him.  Everyone tries to run him over.  Everyone tries to blow him up.   BUT THEY JUST CANT TAKE CHUCK DOWN.  And he drives down prices on the things that he wants.  And he never flinches.  NO MATTER HOW MANY AK-47’s go off around him.

    God bless Chuck Norris.

Ron Silver is about as bonkers as it gets in this making of a psychopath movie.   Watching him scream and workout and kiss and stand in a bathroom naked and bleeding all while sporting his perfect Patrick Bateman-esque suits and hair was a joy to behold.   Kathryn Bigelow pulled out all the stops for this one.

I hope there’s a film print out there that will show at the New Beverly.

It's aesthetically pleasing, mind-tripping genre mashup - the kind of movie one hopes will see in a movie theater, but rarely ever get to. It's hypnotic, both in it's banality, as in it's over the top violence. I mean,…
