Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

This has Tarantino written all over it. I watched this 2 days ago and had to think about it, before writing a review. A lot of things are happening in this. I have to say it grew on me, the more I thought about it.
Terrific chemistry between Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt, and is undoubtably the highlight of the film. The third act is definitely divisive, but only because everyone had some expectations from it and Tarantino shatters them,…

    High Life

    ★★

A very brutal film. Claire Denis doesn’t shy away from blood, gore or sex. This is a very intresting idea, executed well. I wish there was a little more back stories for the characters. It was difficult to connect with them.
Robert Pattinson is turning out to be an actor to watch out for. He is really good. You can tell his twilight days are behind him.
Juliette Binoche looks attractive, as her character needs to be. I have always admired her.
Intresting movie that will work for some and others will hate it. I am indifferent. It did not have an effect on me, whatsoever.

This movie is heartbreaking and delightful at the same time. What makes a family? Can you chose your family? These are the questions the movie asks.

Memorable moments shared by a family are shot and acted very well. It makes you feel like you are watching somebody’s private lives, like a fly on the wall. These moments are what makes this movie great. This is not a morally upright family, they are thieves. But the beauty of the direction of…
