A highly interesting film that might be the closet thing we get into the mind of one of the greatest filmmaker of the 20th century, told by his right hand man. Streaming on Netflix.
Im always cautious about over hyped movies and even more so when they are meta slashers. Cabin in the Woods, Final Girls all really clever entries so what new things can YMBTK bring to the table? Despite some on the nose references the film does manage to be interesting and for the most part fun. The fragmented timeline is also a nice touch. I actually kind of wished that the awesome twist wasn't spoiled not only in the title but pretty early on in the film. Overall I enjoyed it but its not without its flaws.
