Before Steel Magnolias there was this 5 time Acadmey Award winner. I’m not sure why it took me so long to get around to viewing it. A wonderful little story about life, death, love and family with superb preformances from the greats, MacLaine, Daniels, Winger and Nicholson. I think they captured the essence of mother/children relationships perfectly, causing me laughter and tears. Truly a timeless picture.
While better than 2017’s Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin still manages to fall short of the original classic. The sheer ability to compile 22 films into one cohesive plot deserves accolades in its own right. However whenever the plot turns to (spoiler alert) time travel, things usually get merky- Endgane is no exception. Regardless, it was a satisfying end to 10 years worth of Superhero Cinema. (And now I’m done forever with the superhero forever).
