Wake me up when one of these tired ass Cinderella fantasies ends with a rejection of the grotesque consumption on display that actually has some integrity. It's a breezy and entertaining storm of all the usual princess movie/romcom cliches (kooky best friend! flamboyantly gay fashionista gives our heroine a makeover! start of third act breakup! dramatic marriage proposal on a plane!), but giving this wealth porn bullshit a race lift doesn't make it any less inherently toxic.
