This film is beautiful and perfect and hits too close to home and I'll never watch it ever again.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Just showed this to my teen daughter who loves horror. Follows the usual teen slasher protocol until the ending. Always psyched to show her things that have strong female characters (even if they turn out to be sociopaths)
Joanne Woodward and Paul Newman have always held a special place in my movie heart since I saw them in the strange and wonderful A NEW KIND OF LOVE. This, however, is a different animal altogether. Joanne as the sexually frustrated Rachel is devastating and honest. Not enough people have seen this.
