Caleb’s review published on Letterboxd:
Merry Christmas. Easily one of the greatest films ever made and my top 10 of all time. There’s so much to dig into in its 159 minutes, and every minute counts. Kubrick left us with his final masterpiece, and it doesn’t disappoint one bit. Perplexing, terrifying and masterful. Magic, illusions, dreams, reality, none of it are certainties. Everything becomes a question, an ultimate contemplation on art, sex, humanity, love, everything. Find me a better film that’s just as dense as this, as well as unsatisfying, but doesn’t leave your mind for ages.
