Caleb’s review published on Letterboxd:
Wes Craven arguably saved the slasher-horror genre, and it doesn’t age one bit. A part satire, part mystery, part slasher, it’s just a mishmash of various elements that’s been done in horror film history and Craven is able to navigate all of these seamlessly to make an arguably perfect film. The performances are always great, the dialogue is super sharp and on point; and The whodunnit is well done too. This is a film I’ll never get tired of, it’s always fresh even if this is probably my hundredth time seeing this. Just perfection and a pure delight.
