    Seven Women of Different Ages

    ★★★½

Did not feel like a documentary and I liked that.

  • TNT Jackson

    TNT Jackson

    ★★½

Was gunna rate this only one star , and that was just for the sound track. But then the last three minutes made me add a star and half.

  • Diary of a Pregnant Woman

    Diary of a Pregnant Woman

    ★★★½

A beautifully made short film, my the inimitable Agnes Varda. Unmistakably French, in particular in the scenes featuring the lovers. I didn’t love it as much as I loved Uncle Yanco. But it is still a visual feast in only 16 minutes, well worth the watch.

  • The Beguiled

    The Beguiled

the one star is for the production design. the rest of the stars are missing, just like the black people in this movie set in the civil war era south. coppola’s beguiled seriously whitewashes not only the original novel, but history as well. beautiful but lacking any soul.

  • Thumbelina

    Thumbelina

Back in my infancy , I’d go to Star Video and rent this pretty much every weekend and my little brother would rent Spice World. My parents would probably have saved money if they would have just bought us copies us our own VHS copies. Lol.

  • The Swan Princess

    The Swan Princess

I’ve probably seen this movie 3,000,000,000 times. I’m not even sure how my parents vhs copy still works.

  • The Sure Thing

    The Sure Thing

I watched this for the first time with my grandmother. No wonder my uncle calls her house the “dirty movie palace”

  • Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice

    Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice

    ★★

Like really boring foreplay that never leads to sex.

  • Metropolitan

    Metropolitan

    ★★★

Tommy Townsend is a garbage-boi. Long live sweet Audrey. Nick is pretty likeable for a rich guy.

  • Human Desire

    Human Desire

I had expected more from Fritz Lang. But I should have known from the fateful line “ All women are alike. They just got different faces so that the men can tell them apart” that I would not like this film. While the performances were convincing, the camerawork expertly done, and other technical aspects shone brilliantly, nothing could save this misogynistic snooze fest. We get it Fritz. It’s all the heroine’s fault. And you think she owes you an explanation for her very existence. I gave the film one star for Gloria Graham’s performance, which was incredibly well done inspite of it all.

  • Bad Timing

    Bad Timing

I love bad movies, and I couldn’t stand this one. How can a movie be so bad, it’s not even good?

  • Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart in Peril

Lone Wolf and Cub: Baby Cart in Peril

    ★★★

Still a good movie, but not the same after a change in directors.
