I'll never agree with the notion that authenticity and faithfulness to the source material is some sort of inherent indication of quality in a film adaptation, and it's quite hypocritical when people are okay with modern re-worked adaptations of 19th century and earlier literature.
Eh I guess I don't have much to say about this one, except that I rlly enjoyed it. Some of those expected silent, no music, special 'ol hollywood little moments are present here, just plain scenery and expression.
P.S Buck is the best dog actor I've seen ❤️
