This movie clearly shows the existence of our society in a permanent crisis of the economy and the degradation of morality in realities of life in Russia. "The Factory" inspires empathy and addresses it to all participants of the action.
Yuri Bykov is my favorite Russian director. Please consider watching Bykov's "To Live" and "The Fool", Zvyagintsev's Oscar nominated "Loveless" and "Leviathan", and Serebrennikov's "The Student" after watching this movie if you want to know more about the state of contemporary Russian cinema.
