Basically a Disney Channel Original Movie with TERRIFYING scares. The set pieces are absolutely phenomenal, the creature design is immaculate & BEAUTIFULLY echo the book, and the story is a ton of fun. The script, dialogue, and character work left a lot to be desired, but is still serviceable. SUPPORT THIS MOVIE so we get more!!!!
Quentin is getting soft on us! This is a complete and total celebration of a great transitional period for Hollywood. DiCaprio and Pitt have wonderful chemistry together as Rick and Cliff. BOTH are Oscar worthy. Robbie’s Sharon Tate is spot on, if a bit underutilized. My biggest issue with the film is EASILY the length.
