Once Upon a Time in Hollywood ★★★★

Quentin is getting soft on us! This is a complete and total celebration of a great transitional period for Hollywood. DiCaprio and Pitt have wonderful chemistry together as Rick and Cliff. The 2nd Act, while good, could’ve used a nice trimming around the edges to keep the pace up. Also, some scenes could feel a bit self-indulgent, if still impeccably crafted. HOWEVER, that 3rd Act is PURE, UNHINGED TARANTINO at his best. The performances, imagery, symbolism, and fantastical elements left me with a huge smile on my face...
