Opening half hour was brilliant. But then the rest of the film never quite matches that intensity.
The fights get tedious fast, and if that happens, then John Wick doesn’t really have anything else to offer.
The dogs scene was refreshing, but short lived. The final segment was probably the worst that the whole film had to offer.
I feel John Wick has run its course. I could’ve probably said that after John Wick 2.
I can't even lie. I went with 3 friends to see this at a 9pm screening last night and was hands down the guy that was being looked at and laughed at, for they expected me to be writhering in my seat wanting to leave in fear. I was even laughing and pointing at myself knowing full well it was accurate...
What I didn't expect however was that I'd be so gripped on this movie, that I didn't even have…
[INITIAL REACTION] No... no... no... I refuse to believe it.
[COMPOSED REACTION] I feel I am usually very critical about big blockbusters. I kind of don’t want to be like everyone else and just spoon these movies because we feel like we have to. I will look for any possible way to play down a film like this, just to bring fanboys down a level... but I’ve gotta be honest, this film packs a serious punch.
Ok granted, there’s so…
