Edgar Wright is slowly becoming one of my favourite directors. This is just such a fun and great film. You can tell Wright put a lot of effort into making this. He seamlessly blends the horror genre and the comedy genre which is great. All the characters are great and hilarious. I like how they added some drama with Shaun’s mum and his realationship with liz.

II really enjoyed the Don’t Stop Me Now scene and thought it was really creative. Definitely a film I will rewatch in the future.

As Tarintino’s directional debut, this film is fantastic. The thing I love about this film so much is the characters. Every character feels very real and they all have different backstorys and personalities. Everyone’s performances are great but I think the main standout is Harvey Keitel as Mr White. His performance is phenomenal and feels very real.

The dialogue, as always in a Tarintino film, is very witty and quirky and feels like a real or everyday conversation. The soundtrack is amazing and the camerawork is great. The torture scene is so good!

I didn’t think I would love this as much as I did. This was just such a fun and enjoyable cinema experience. All the songs are great and the visual effects are astounding but the standout and best part of the film has to be Timon and Punbaa. They were just so funny and I had a smile on my face every time they were on screen.

After watching Birdman I knew I wanted to watch more of Iñárritu‘ work. I was expecting good things but my expectations were thrown out the window. This film is fantastic. Iñárritu is such a talented director with the shots in this being beautiful and visually stunning. The long takes were also supberb.

DiCaprio gives(I think) his best performance. He conveys so much emotion just through his expressions. This film really does show the brutality of 1800s America.
