The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part

After watching the trailer, I was preparing to be disappointed. Figured it'd just be a shameless cash-grab.

But...It sucked me in, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Best musical of 2019 so far!

  • Bao

    Sweet lil short.

  • A Star Is Born

    A Star Is Born

Things I overheard as the credits rolled (while the audience wiped their tears):

"Damn, Bradley Cooper is a charmer."
"...I was wondering why he sounded just like Sam Elliott."
"I didn't know he could sing."
"I didn't know she could sing."
"Well, I sure need a drink now."
"I can't believe Andrew Dice Clay is a better actor than Lady Gaga."

  • Ocean's Eleven

    Ocean's Eleven

The chemistry between Clooney & Pitt make this film great.

  • The Meg

    The Meg

This was much better than I expected.

When we showed up to this PG-13 movie, our theatre was mostly parents who had brought their 6 yr olds with them. I counted at least eight young boys and girls. Later after watching actors get eaten and buckets of blood and gore, some children started wailing. I smirked at the parents and gave them the "thumbs-up" as their reward. They left.

    The Meg is a surprisingly well-made B-movie monster show. I expected…

  • Ant-Man and the Wasp

    Ant-Man and the Wasp

I liked this one better than the first.
Ant-Man works better as a sidekick to the Wasp.

That epilogue had the entire audience gasping "OH NO!"

P.S. I now want Paul Rudd to be my daddy.

  • Bachelor Mother

    Bachelor Mother

It's too bad they don't make ones like these anymore. Ginger Rogers has the best comedic timing.

  • Solo: A Star Wars Story

    Solo: A Star Wars Story

This film is just a good time. It's got action and adventure...Lots of little moments for Star Wars fans to appreciate and smile at...It starts a little slow, but by the end we were all pleased.

  • Rampage

Back in '86 when I was hangin' at the mall plugging quarters into Rampage, this was exactly the movie I was dying for.

But today, I couldn't believe it. It was actually good. It's a big loud monster/disaster movie. The story and dialogue was much better than Pacific Rim Uprising. The emotion was better than any Godzilla film. The genetic tampering was much more fun than Annihilation. Sure people say "Hold on!" and "Holy Shit!" every 5min, but that's the…

  • The Greatest Showman

    The Greatest Showman

Kudos to the movie makers who took a hundred terrible ideas and spun them into GOLD!

  • Black Panther

    Black Panther

It's obvious why this film has made over $1B.

  • The Breadwinner

    The Breadwinner

    Incredible animation style!
    Incredible story.
