For the first time since the Dark Knight trilogy I'm excited to see what DC's cinematic future holds. This movie was pretty freaking great. And you don't have to watch the other DC movies in order to enjoy this one. I highly recommend this one.

I went into this movie wincing. Why? I don't know exactly something about it just seemed too bubbly, corny, and lame but I actually really dig this flick. I can personally relate to a lot of the themes in the movie. I too have felt like a disappointing loser who tries making art and still lives at home with their parents. I also really resonated with how it depicts typical adult life as something that drains all the child like…

A low budget killer clown movie. It's pretty bad but has a few things that might make it worth a watch.

The performance from the clown portrayed by David Howard Thornton is a lot of fun to watch. You can tell the actor was just having an absolute hay day with this role. And the leading woman the audience is introduced to at the start of the film (Jenna Kanell) doesn't do a bad job either. Her performance felt grounded…

I like this movie! It's a really fun superhero movie where Captain Marvel hangs out and saves earth from an alien invasion with Samuel L. Jackson and a cool cat.
Edit: Also some of the CGI was really bad.
    7/10

Francis Ford Coppola does a wonderful job adapting Bram Stoker's famous novel. The image of Dracula has been muddled over the years by various cinematic incarnations. It's nice to see an adaption that makes an effort to adapt the novel best it can within a feature length runtime.

They make additional details that feel natural in the story. Incorporating inspiration from Vlad the Impaler into Dracula's lore or having a reincarnated lost love feel like welcome additions to the story…
