Zac’s review published on Letterboxd:
After watching countless hours of The Office, I have a hard time giving Steve Carell a fair shot at dramatic roles. Every time he raises his voice to a certain level, it is hard for me not to picture Michael Scott. That being said, this likely would have been pretty dull without his presence. Timothée Chalamet is really the standout though, and gives an incredible performance that makes this a must watch.
The storytelling feels kind of chaotic and unfocused with all the ups and downs (mostly downs..) but I believe that is the intention. It creates a level of realism that makes you really feel the despair.
Some scenes fall a little flat, but overall it’s a well handled movie about an important topic. Everyone should be able to get something valuable from watching this.
